Tips for Writing and Reviewing Extension Work with the Journal of Extension

Abstract

This presentation will be led by members of the Journal of Extension Editorial Board and provide participants with assistance focused on writing and reviewing Extension work.  Discussion will focus on the article categories that can be written for the Journal of Extension which can range in length from something as short as 1,250 words to longer articles of 5,000 words.  Also, tips on what reviewers are looking for and examples of different Extension activities that can be written about and published.  There will also be discussion around how to be a reviewer for the Journal of Extension which can also help with writing.
