Abstract
The CU in the Woods Newsletter is a quarterly compilation of forestry and natural resources-related articles that provide relevant information to landowners. Clemson Extension Natural Resources Team members and specialists write the articles, and Clemson Extension Natural Resources team member Jaime Pohlman edits them in a newsletter format. In addition to the educational articles, the newsletter promotes upcoming programs, provides team updates, and informs landowners of local forestry associations. Landowners access the newsletter in several different ways. There is an email distribution list of 1289 individuals who receive the newsletter in their inbox. Natural Resources team members often share and forward the email newsletter for an even more extensive reach. Additionally, the newsletter is available in PDF form and posted on the Clemson Extension Forestry and Wildlife program team website. The individual articles are also posted on the Clemson Extension Forestry and Wildlife team blog page. They are often shared on the Clemson Extension Forestry and Wildlife team's social media pages. The winter edition of the newsletter hit inboxes on February 6th, 2024, while the fall edition went out on November 3rd, 2023.
